It makes pretty good sense why this spammer can't afford an English keyboard. If anyone was able to read this junk, someone might actually buy some stuff from him. After all, how many English speaking e-mail users, use the Japanese character encoding?

To most people, this message will look like a piece of garbled text, because most people use the Western or Unicode character encoding when viewing e-mails. To view a message like this (in its original format) you need to set your e-mail client's character encoding to Japanese (ISO-2022-JP).

In Thunderbird go to View->Character Encoding->More Encodings->East Asian->Japanese (ISO-2022-JP). Remember to set it back to whatever character encoding you used before, once you are done viewing the Japanese encoded e-mail.

There is no need to change the character encoding in your browser, because the body of this e-mail example has been captured as an image.
