If we had a dime for every time we heard this line...
Need we say more?
That must have been exhausting!
O.K. and what is my name. You see they conveniently left that part out because they don't know what your name is.
On... what number? The URL? We don't think that's going to work.

This is only a clever play to make you believe that the money really exists. At first the MTCN number had the status of "Awaiting Pickup". But later the status changed to "Picked up". No other information is provided on the Western Union website. This gives you absolutely no guarantee about the money's existence, because this form of tracking does not show you how much money was sent or who the intended recipient really is.
These scammers most likely sent themselves money and used the tracking number as bait. They probably went back and picked up the money and will tell their victims that they took too long to pick up the money so it was returned to the United Nations... or perhaps British American Tobacco.
Wait a minute... we thought it was $6500? Oh... maybe they already subtracted the transfer fee...
Whatever that means!
Who came up with that e-mail address?
