Every webmaster have to deal with them, automated link exchange requests.

An e-mail address harvester (or spam bot in short), will crawl your website in search of an e-mail address from the same domain. For example, when the spam bot visits the website www.example.com, it will search for all e-mail addresses ending with @example.com.

Fortunately for the webmaster, these bots are very stupid, they never look at the local part of the e-mail address (in other words the account name), they simply send their junk in the hopes of reaching the webmaster's mailbox.

We don't know what this spam bot was thinking when it sent an e-mail to our spam reporting address. Perhaps he wanted to turn himself in?
