But the focus of our attention is on the spammer's choice of subject line. We see this technique all the time and the spammers are quite successful in their attempts to trigger the curiosity of their victims.
Some people simply can't resist the temptation of some juicy, newsworthy item and easily fall victim to this lame technique. Not all of these e-mails are harmless though, many of them contain malicious attachments or links to malicious websites, so always remember the saying: "Curiosity killed the cat".
