This time the phishing scammers included some telephone numbers. Although we cannot vouch for these telephone numbers, they seem to belong to Beneficial. But the phishing scammers might just as well be testing out the waters. The next wave of phishing scams could easily include telephone numbers that will put you into direct contact with the actual scammers posing as Beneficial employees. So never call a telephone number quoted in an e-mail, rather visit the website of your bank and use the contact numbers listed there. Don't visit the bank's website by clicking a link in an e-mail, open your browser and enter your bank's actual website address into the address bar.
In the end if you don't know your bank's website address or telephone number, look it up the telephone book and if that doesn't work, pay a visit to your bank's nearest branch. Don't leave anything to chance, rather be safe than sorry.
