This email is from the desk of Mr CARLO BOZOTTI,President and Chief Executive Officer of STMicroelectronics, who has it worldwide headquater in GENEVA SWITZERLAND.
STMicroelectronics was created in 1987 by the merger of SGS Microelettronica of Italy and Thomson Semiconducteurs of France with the aim of becoming a world leader in the sub-micron era.Since its formation, ST has grown faster than the semiconductor industry as a whole and it has been one of the world`s Top Ten semiconductor suppliers since 1999. ST offers one of the world`s broadest product ranges, with over 3,000 main types of products. The carefully balanced portfolio includes both application-specific products containing a large proprietary IP content and multi-segment products that range from discrete devices to high-performance microcontrollers.
Due to the balancement between the industry`s five major high-growth sectors: Communications, Consumer, Computer, Automotive and Industria, we have reached big sales volume in the european market and now are trying to penetrate the Northern American market. Quite soon we will open representative offices and authorized sales centers in North America and therefore we are urrently looking for people who will assist us in establishing a new distribution network there. The fact that despite the Nothern America market is new for us we already have regular clients also speaks for itself.
This idea of REPRESENTATIVE OFFICES AND DISTRIBUTION CENTRES is making us to contact you today to know if you would be able to perform the duties below
DUTIES
1 Supervising all activities that would be carried out in the OFFICE
2 Receiving payments on behalf of the company for goods sold and from our customers in time past, in any payment method they feel is comfortable with them as at the time of their contact with you or vice versa.
Be informed that you do not need to have any form of eductaion because we will be having an ORIENTATION EXERCISE for all of our staff.
If you deem capable of performing these duties,we will want you to send us your resume as soon as possible,or the following information
1 Your Full Name
2 Contact Address
3 Telephone Number.Endeavour to include your MOBILE number.
4 Present Occupation And Position Held
Note that you would be placed on a monthly salary of $3,000USD monthly and a commission of 5% for any payment you receive on behalf of the company. Thank you so very much for having the patient and time to read this email. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely,
Mr C.Ferro
STMicroelectronics

motour.gov.my belongs to the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism. The IP address 202.190.210.144 may be a Malaysian IP address, but header also contains an X-Originating-IP entry, with the Nigerian IP address 41.205.166.104. We all know that the X-Originating-IP is not a very reliable header entry, but even the "Received" entries can be forged by a spammer, so it is really hard to trust anything in this header.
Typical 419 tactics. Send e-mail from the one account and instruct your victims to send replies to different account (often a free e-mail account). Sify.com is a free e-mail service provided by the Indian Internet company Sify Technologies Limited. This is a very popular e-mail service among 419 scammers.
An e-mail from a large organisation like STMicroelectronics without a subject line? We don't think so.
An e-mail address belonging the Malaysian government, a Sify.com Reply-To e-mail address, an empty subject line and an alleged originating IP address in Nigeria. This is indisputable proof that the e-mail did not come from STMicroelectronics in Switzerland. So you don't even have to look at the contents of the e-mail to tell that it is a scam.
The information presented in the opening paragraph is not a state secret. STMicroelectronics have their own website www.st.com, so anyone can obtain this information from their website.
What the hell does "balancement" means?
If you are a job seeker you should always do a background check on your prospective employer. Almost every company has a website these days, so what is a better place to look for information about the company? If you browse through their website you will quickly discover that they already have a distributors and sales representatives in North America, so this statement in the e-mail is a bunch of hogwash!
1 Supervising all activities that would be carried out in the OFFICE
2 Receiving payments on behalf of the company for goods sold and from our customers in time past, in any payment method they feel is comfortable with them as at the time of their contact with you or vice versa.

Supervising, yeah right! The only thing you will supervise is the transfer of YOUR money from YOUR bank account to the scammers.
Receiving payments on behalf of the company? How many people will still fall for this overused 419 sales pitch? When will the 419 scammers realise that a sales rep is someone who makes sales, not a debt collector?
Dear Mr. 419 scammer it is clear that your lack of education and dyslectic nature lead to the misspelling of the word "education". So it looks like you need more than just an orientation exercise.
Do you really think a prestigious company like STMicroelectronics will hire a bunch of inexperienced, under qualified sales representatives and offer them a lousy orientation exercise to bring them up to par with the latest sales techniques? Most definitely not.
Why would a prospective employer be so adamant about your mobile number? Victims can easily provide a landline number at work, or a public payphone number, so the scammer won't have any direct means of communication with them. The scammers don't want to let their victims out of their sights, they want a direct telephone number so that they can engage in psychological warfare. They will make a nuisance of themselves and bother you so much that you will eventually give in and send them the money, just to make them stop. The only problem is, once you give in, they will constantly come back for more.
What kind of company will pay a monthly salary of 3 grand and on top of that 5% of all payments made by clients, to someone who only COLLECTS the payments and never makes any sales? That's bloody suicidal to say the least.
What patient? Mr. 419 scammer, don't tell us you're in the hospital business too!
